Melissa Cousley has extensive experience and formal education in early childhood education. She has taught young children in both preschool and elementary school settings. Her experience as an elementary school Teacher inspired her to begin a program that would bridge the gap between preschool and elementary school. She is currently completing a Doctoral degree in Education with a concentration in Reading in Early Childhood Education.

Meet the Director
Vivid Scope Early Childhood Center is a pre-kindergarten program designed to foster academic excellence through a balance of play and standards-based, differentiated instruction. We have an extraordinary staff of experienced teachers and caregivers. They stay current on developmental and educational issues through on-going programs.
* All staff have surpassed Department of Children and Families educational requirements and participate in early childhood education trainings throughout the year.
* Teachers use periodic assessments to guide lesson planning and instruction in literacy and mathematics.
